FSR is proud to present our article "NATO’s 'Back to the Future,' A Conversation with Dr. Benedetta Berti" as a preview of our upcoming 2024 edition of the Fletcher Security Review. Dr. Benedetta Berti, PhD, Head of Policy Planning in the Office of the Secretary-General at NATO, spoke with Staff Editor Akshat D. earlier this year to discuss her career, the 2022 NATO Strategic Concept, and her hopes for next week’s Washington Summit. About us
Fletcher Security Review (FSR) is a print and online journal managed and edited by students at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Drawing on the school’s interdisciplinary academic approach, FSR engages established and emerging scholars, practitioners, and analysts across a range of security issues. For our contributors, FSR works to provide a forum through which to advance ideas and unique perspectives. This is sought in service of our dynamic audience, whose interests span traditional and nontraditional security topics. Ultimately, as a student-run publication, each edition of FSR is guided by the passions and perspectives of its editorial staff.

We are so grateful to our amazing graphic designer, @Pamela Maiato, for her work designing the 2023 FSR and for all of her creative and logistical guidance!
Experienced Graphic Designer | I creates visual identities and branding solutions (print and digital) to enable clients to articulate their vision.
I’m excited to reveal a project collaboration with the Fletcher Security Review (FSR), a print and online journal run by the students at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Stepping into the role as a new designer, I initiated a comprehensive overhaul of the project, implementing redesigns, establishing timelines, providing valuable guidance to the editors, and skillfully managing the entire process throughout both the print and online phases. This extensive 100-page publication brings together established and emerging scholars, practitioners, and analysts to explore a wide range of security issues, offering a platform to advance ideas and diverse perspectives. #fletcherschool The Fletcher School at Tufts University Rose Fusco Emma Soderholm #graphicdesign #publicationdesign #journal #printdesign #design

We are thrilled to announce the newest edition of the Fletcher Security Review! This edition, Security Prisms, covers various international security issues, including trade controls, cybersecurity, technology, information warfare, great power competition, space policy, wildlife crime, and more. We hope that when you read the articles in this edition, you can see that security issues do not happen in a vacuum: instead, similar to light refracting out of a prism, they spread and shine on all aspects of our world and daily lives. We are proud that our contributors come from a variety of backgrounds, including historians, policy analysts, journalists, and artists. This edition contains articles from Kevin Wolf, Justin Sherman, Dr. Rob Spalding, Brig Gen, USAF (Ret), Jay L Batongbacal, JSD, Nadtochey Yury, Niva Yau, Gabrielle Lim and Joan Donovan, Samuel Bendett, Elisabeth Braw, Tara Keir, and Banerjee Mou. Special thanks to all of them for making this project so unique. Major thanks to our managing staff: Sophia Zornitza Warner, Cameron Henley, Rose Fusco, Emma Soderholm, our graphic designer, Pamela Maiato, the entire FSR editorial staff, and the International Security Studies Program for their support and dedication to this journal. Happy Reading! https://lnkd.in/ecGre4w9
