This is a great article showing the power of public art with one of Flint Energies' Rural Murals. This program was created by our Vice President of our Cooperative Communications Department, Marian Douglas McLemore, APR, CCC, MCC, CKAE. She's an artist who understands how public art can change a place for good. The Rural Murals are impacting our service area in a huge way! Thank you UGA Carl Vinson Institute of Government for featuring this mural in beautiful Buena Vista!
A vibrant mural is helping to engage visitors and spark hometown pride in downtown Buena Vista. Funded by Flint Energies, the mural encourages tourism through public art, a recommendation of the River Valley Community Compatible Development Plan (RVCCD), which provides strategic direction to spur economic development in communities surrounding Fort Moore and Columbus.
