Following the successful sale of the iconic Perry’s Café on Pacific Highway to a multi-family developer, we shifted our focus immediately to organizing a 1031 exchange with the proceeds, and we need to brag a little about the results. Our team, in lock step coordination with Brian Quinn of JLL,  worked diligently to identify and secure two outstanding trade properties: the first – a 20 year Chipotle ground lease in Tulsa, OK, and the second, a Natural Grocers in Kennewick, WA. They totaled nearly $8.5 million - our starting target price! 🌟 This result was a testament to our 4 person Team staying on top of the competitive national STNL marketplace on a daily basis to find and negotiate the perfect investments for one of our favorite clients - Georgakopoulus Family LLC, aka Perry. And a special shoutout to Brian Quinn for his great communication and negotiating skills, in addition to our team members—Steve Avoyer, Gael Courtney, and Julia McCullah. Their hard work, diligence, and negotiation skills were pivotal in making this happen. From obtaining the Perry’s listing in 2020 at the outset of COVID, to the complexities of the both the down leg and up legs, their experience and expertise truly paid off.
