Our President and CEO Alix Miller moderated an engaging panel at the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) Conference in Phoenix with Garth Pitzel and P-J Barclay. The discussion on impairment testing was so dynamic that they ran out of time with a room still full of questions! Key takeaway: Impaired driving incidents are preventable through proper workforce education and systematic safety protocols. The trucking industry is setting the standard on identifying and preventing impaired driving and the commitment to safety is outstanding. Thank you to the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) for hosting this important industry conversation on keeping our roads safe for everyone.

We're also incredibly proud of our President and CEO's reappointment to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. On this council she will represent the Sixth District which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Congratulations Alix on this well-deserved recognition of your leadership and expertise!

Ladies and gentlemen, start your (computer) engines! Our Florida Truck Driving Championships driver, hotel, and banquet registration is now open at floridatrucking.org/tdc. It’s sure to be another sold-out event! Last year we had more than 330 qualified drivers, and the winners in each of the classes go on to compete in the National Truck Driving Championships and Step Van Driving Championships. We’re proud of the commitment to safety and the dedication of these professional drivers. Florida’s Truck Driving Championships will take place June 12-14 in Daytona, Florida.
