    I am in front of all the attendees to a "thinking about thinking" conference and the moment has come to prove I know how to Flow when it matters most. The emcee asked a small group of us to participate in the improv exercise known as "Know-It-All": an audience member asks a question and the small group has to answer the question with each participant taking turns stating one word until the question is answered. It is my turn to supply a word and the sentence is "He would be excited and the in..." What word would you state to continue the sentence? Take FIVE SECONDS to answer before continuing. If you took more than five seconds, or worse, if you think taking more than five seconds is going to result in the correct answer, you believe that your conscious brain (which is 10% of your brain) is smarter than your unconscious brain (which is 90% of your brain)! Don't worry, psychologists and consultants believe the same thing! The first rule of improv is "yes, and..."  If you look to negate someone or something, the improv is over. Agreeing with what has been supplied to you gets your amygdalae out of the way and allows you to retain your conscious brain. You won't trigger. If you know your unique process for Flow (your Flowcess), you can choose to give up control from your conscious brain to your unconscious brain and the answer will appear. The problem is: when we REALLY REALLY want to do something well, we tend to focus MORE with our conscious brain and, at best, our approach will Solve the problem. Solving problems when there are people involved leads to the creation of three more problems (i.e., Law of Unintended Consequences) and the overall stress from your Solution will be worse than from the original problem! This is the reason the world is getting worse! Flowcess is the only company that can help you determine your unique process for Flow so that you can give up control to your unconscious and Flow when you REALLY REALLY need to! In front of a room of people I respect and desperately needed to prove that I alone had the ability to get anyone into Flow - a room that was growing more tense because they were concerned their friend who stated "in" was showing signs of dementia or that he was intentionally disrupting the festivities - I respond... "comprehensible" ...and I get the biggest laugh of the entire conference! Not only did my answer dissolve the issue, it was a massive unconscious confrontation to everyone because I demonstrated the superior effect of being able to think about thinking. Do you want to feel and perform your best when it matters most? Do you want to be free from the destructive behavior of those around you?     Burnout is real and it can be physical, emotional, spiritual and mentally engineered. There is nothing wrong with stepping back and be honest.
