📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 Congratulations to our 2024 International Person of the Year, Consuelo Sanchez, STS, CATP !!! Consuelo joined Florida's Sports Coast (FSC), formerly known as Visit Pasco, in 2015. In 2017, as a testament to her outstanding contributions, Consuelo was promoted to Sports Development & Tourism Manager; and in 2022, in recognition to her exceptional capabilities, she was appointed as the Tourism Deputy Director, underscoring her consistent growth and leadership within the organization. Throughout her tenure at FSC, Consuelo has displayed remarkable competence in sports tourism sales and has made significant administrative contributions to the Pasco County Destination Management Organization (DMO). This included overseeing critical affairs involving the Tourist Development Council and Board of County Commissioners. She has also been a vital collaborator, assisting the DMO Executive Director and actively participating in developing the Florida’s Sports Coast brand identity. Her efforts have significantly boosted national and international awareness of the FSC brand. Originally from Colombia, Consuelo moved to the U.S. 10 years ago with her family and brought with her over two decades of experience in project management and business development. Her expertise has been pivotal in attracting and securing national and international events to Pasco County, Florida. Consuelo, thank you for everything you do! ⛳️ 2024 IAGTO NAC This week, I had the opportunity to represent Florida’s Sports Coast at IAGTO NAC at Boyne Mountain Resort .I had meetings with 24 top-notch golf tour operators from across the globe, including Germany, Canada, Latin America, and the US. Beyond that, I had the pleasure of meeting and networking with over 150 people throughout the event.
