Reminder! Join us July 25 for our next Innovation Builders webinar. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gaprwHAa As the world embraces net-zero energy solutions during the energy transition, we encounter novel processes. Some of these processes push even the highest alloy materials to their limits. Meanwhile, familiar materials can be applied to other new energy solutions, but their limitations under specific conditions must be thoroughly understood. Join Fluor Fellow Jan-Willem Rensman as he delves into perceived issues and practical engineering approaches for utilizing carbon steels in two critical areas: Liquefied CO2 Applications: Explore the unique challenges and opportunities when employing carbon steels in handling liquefied CO2, a crucial component of sustainable energy systems. Hydrogen Applications: Understand the implications of using carbon steels in hydrogen-related processes, considering safety, corrosion and performance factors. #BuildingABetterWorld #InnovationBuilders #Webinar #EnergyTransition

Year after year, our employees give their time, money, energy and expertise to enrich the lives of those in their community. In Perth, Australia, 36 of our colleagues represented Fluor in the HBF Run for a Reason, Perth's largest annual fitness fundraising challenge. The team ran to benefit children experiencing poverty in Australia, with funds raised supporting students' educational needs, such as school uniforms, supplies and home internet access. We build a better world by giving back. Learn more about community at Fluor: https://lnkd.in/eBWa3drQ #BuildingABetterWorld #FluorCares #Community
