A shipment at Frankfurt Airport appeared to be lost in a baggage storage area. Despite repeated attempts by airport staff to retrieve it, the box remained missing. By quickly deploying a local OBC and using the GPS signal from the TrackTag, we were able to pinpoint the bag’s exact location. This allowed us to direct airport personnel to the correct spot for swift retrieval. Without the GPS tracking, the shipment likely would have remained lost for several days. This solution allowed us to recover and deliver the cargo with minimal delay, demonstrating the critical role of advanced tracking in our operations. At FLYTRIX, we are dedicated to using technology to meet our clients’ logistics needs efficiently. FLYTRIX faced delays for some shipments but managed to minimize customer impact through effective monitoring and quick response. On the day of the outage, some of our couriers from Asia were transiting through San Francisco to Mexico. United Airlines experienced operational issues, leading to extended delays and eventual cancellations. Recognizing the escalating situation, we took immediate action to recover checked-baggage shipments and explore alternative solutions. With most flights from San Francisco canceled and remaining seats sold out, we arranged taxis to transport couriers and cargo to nearby Oakland and San Jose airports. This enabled us to secure some of the last available seats on Volaris’ nonstop flights to Mexico, resulting in only a few hours of delay for the cargo. Our team’s prompt decision-making and resourcefulness ensured the timely delivery of shipments, despite the challenging circumstances.
