From day one, we’ve been dedicated to helping financial advisors build their businesses, expand their influence, and strengthen relationships with customers. Our digital marketing tools and award-winning content are unparalleled in the industry. We currently provide over 40,000 advisors and insurance agents with websites, multimedia content, and the industry’s best communication tools. FMG Suite was born in San Diego, CA in 2011. We started with a handful of advisors and creative thinkers who dared to ask the question, “How can we make a remarkable difference for advisors?” Since then, our offerings have grown from websites to a sophisticated, automated “suite” that supports advisors’ success, day in and day out.     📖 Have you read Joshua Brown’s book "You weren't supposed to see that" or Morgan Housel’s “Psychology of Money”? 📖 Not only are these books SUPER engaging – they’re also great examples of conversational writing. It’s often said that your content should be “understandable,” but how do you measure this? You should be writing at a 7th-9th grade level so clients can quickly scan and “get it.” So, here’s the TIP: Easily measure your writing level with the Flesch Kincaid score!     A super EASY trick to make what you write 100x better. 🤯 When I learned about this tool - I was shocked that it had been sitting there under my nose for years without me ever knowing about it! Here's the thing - Most Americans tend to read at an 8th or 9th grade level. And when we are scanning messaging online, we read even faster, scan more often, and focus on only that which we understand. Yet most financial firms write like they are composing a college essay. 😴 ❌Our robust process integrates all elements of your holistic, comprehensive financial plan into one place ✅ Investments, tax planning, budgeting, insurance; clients tell us the thing they find most helpful about working with us is that that we play point on it all. ^Most people will read the first example and walk away unable to explain what your value is. Not the same case with the second. ⚡ The second is WAY better. Remember, you know your clients. You know how they speak. Use THEIR words. Write so that, without much effort, they will read it and "get it". ( 💡 Did you know that most magazines and newspapers write around a 7th-9th grade level?) If you want an easy way to see what "grade level" your writing is, you can check the Flesch Kincaid level of your writing. 🚨🚨ENTER—->The Flesch–Kincaid readability tests are standard tests designed to indicate how difficult text in English is to understand Here's how: --> Copy and paste the text into Word. --> Select the Home tab. --> Choose Editor, and then go to Document stats. --> A dialog box will appear letting you know Word is calculating your document stats. Choose OK. Also a shout out to my friend Joshua Brown on his new book "You weren't supposed to see that" -- HIGHLY recommend and such a compelling, engaging read that you won't want to put down. And shout out to my other friend Morgan Housel - no matter what you write - we all want to read it.
