Boiler restoration work on Oregon Railroad and Navigation 197 has progressed at a steady pace this summer. Our crews have replaced the lower inside side sheets, driven new mud ring rivets, and wrapped up numerous small repair projects. Work will continue on No. 197 throughout the year and we look forward to collaborating with the Friends of OR&N 197 to bring it closer to steaming once again. 197 is one of several West Coast locomotives we've worked on lately and we're excited to have the team working steadily throughout North America. #railnews #preservation #railindustry

Our team has been at the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation renewing the firebox of Oregon Railroad and Navigation steam locomotive No. 197.
