Day 2 of the Florida Organization for Nursing Leadership (FONL) Conference and Membership Meeting was phenomenal!! Terrific presentations by Nora Warshawsky, PhD,NEA-BC, CNE, FAAN on how to set nurse managers up for success, and Keith Carlson, BSN, RN, NC-BC on personal and professional transformation. The Nurse Leaders panel moderated by Dr. Valerie Morrison, DBA, MSM, BSN, RN and featuring Joy Parchment, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, CPDC, Cheryl Love, and Rayna Letourneau, PhD, RN gave us so many insights into nursing leadership, the challenges we face, and the future. We learned about exciting research and evidence-based practice projects around veterans spirituality, stress first aid, virtual discharge care and job crafting. And we ended the day with the talented and funny, Kelly Swanson! Sharing how to create memorable moments! This was truly a great conference!!
