We're grateful for the feel of fall in the air . . . and for all the ways our city and community showed up these past few weeks in the wake of Helene. If you’re like us, you really want to help those in need from Helene but don’t always exactly know how?! In one small, immediate response, the Forge team loaded up a cart full of supplies to be flown up by helicopter to our neighbors in Western North Carolina + donating for fuel. They are accepting donations at the Greenville downtown airport! Every little bit helps. Our hearts go out to all of our neighbors, clients, and friends impacted by Helene in the past few days. The damage to the Upstate of South Carolina, and even more so in Western North Carolina, will take years to repair and restore. Many of us are still without power, and cancelled schools add an additional layer of complexity for working parents. We are so thankful our team members and families are safe, and we are SO grateful to all the first responders and utility workers who are working long hours to take care of our communities. Thanks to the dedication of our team members (and very much appreciated power and WiFi!!), Forge is open and operational. Let us know if there is anything we can help you with! Dial 2-1-1 or text “HELP” or “AYUDA” to 211-211. ✨ Kidding Around Greenville (https://hubs.ly/Q02RQ9VN0) They have listed places that are offering free hot meals & bottled water today, and this week around the area (Greenville, Spartanburg). They have also compiled a list of Food Banks. ✨ Wal-Mart on Woodruff Road, Greenville They are offering hot showers & a place for people to do laundry. ✨ A Medical Needs Shelter is open at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena for those who have electricity-dependent medical needs along with their caregivers. In today's business world, creating the future often means embracing the tools that can drive your company forward—like AI. So how do we bridge the gap between the ideal and the "tyranny of the ordinary"? We recently compiled some of our favorite AI tools and prompts that we've found useful. ✨1. Utilize AI to compile and simplify information. (Think ChatGPT and Claude, as well as Otter for meeting management!) ✨2. Use AI to help you hire better. AI tools can help you identify candidates who are truly the best fit for your open positions by generating tailored interview questions from candidate's resumes (ensure privacy by removing personal info). ✨3. Today we remember the hundreds of thousands of people whose lives were indelibly impacted by the attacks on 9/11. We are grateful for the servicemen and women who sacrificed so much to keep our country safe, and we remember the children who grew up without parents and the parents who lost their children. May our country be united again and may we never forget.
