This Cree Lighting bolllard has been installed for about 10 years. One of the original LED bollards designed with zero uplight, minimal glare and a patented Colorfast Deltaguard finish. How did they nail this design so long ago and how do you improve on such a well executed luminaire…I guess we’ll wait and see!

If you could improve upon streetlighting applications, what would you recommend? Outside of product reliability I would want to see the adoption of CCT's lower than 4000K again, especially since luminaires are available in 2200K CCT at 80CRI with zero up light and 129LPW. We still have HPS roadway locations that transition to LED luminaires in Washington and the difference is still striking to me from a visual comfort standpoint. (For reference HPS CRI is below 30). #bringback2200K
