The County has a planned delayed opening for noon on Friday, Sept. 27, subject to conditions at that time. This early closure includes County government offices, the Pet Resource Center, recycling convenience centers, Senior Services and Parks & Recreation facilities. Thirty Forsyth County residents are the latest graduates of Citizens’ Academy, a summer-long program that provides a look into the inner workings of our County government. Over eight classes from May to September, participants toured various facilities and spoke with local staff and leadership about County functions that serve the community.
