We had a highly informative first day at National Renewable Energy Laboratory's annual cement and concrete decarbonization event. Thank you Ana Aday for hosting us and providing a forum for Craig Hargis to share Fortera’s journey from the lab to the commercialization of our low and zero CO2 cement solutions. We are looking forward to more engaging discussions ahead! #CementDecarbonization #CleanTech #NREL

As the Park Fire continues to threaten California communities, we want to extend our heartfelt thoughts and well wishes to our Fortera colleagues, their families, and our neighbors impacted by this devastating event. The Park Fire has grown to 380,000 acres with 18% containment, posing a significant threat to homes, businesses, and lives. Please stay safe, follow evacuation orders, and reach out if you need assistance. Thank you, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), for your continued efforts to safeguard our neighbors and communities.

After two years of rigorous work with ASTM International and AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials), Fortera's ReAct(R) has achieved a major milestone. U.S. cement standards have provided a clear path to market via blending in cement and concrete. This breakthrough paves the way for more sustainable building practices, reducing the carbon footprint of construction projects. We're proud to contribute to the future of green infrastructure and look forward to seeing ReAct in action. #SustainableConstruction #GreenTechnology #InnovationInCement #ForteraReAct #GreenCement

Earlier today, Fortera participated in the White House Concrete Innovation Summit alongside other startups focused on decarbonized cement and concrete, some of the world's largest building material suppliers, environmental NGOs, material science academics, and leaders across the federal government. Our CEO, Ryan Gilliam, was honored to participate in a roundtable discussion on ‘Accelerating the Innovation and Commercialization Pipeline' to discuss efforts to move green cement into the commercial mainstream. While the challenge is historic, Fortera is proud to be part of the diverse array of solutions seeking to reduce carbon emissions by keeping our air clean. A special thanks to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, which convened the summit and worked to spotlight an industry that is embracing innovation while protecting consumers, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Deputy Secretary David Turk for his comments. #WhiteHouseSummit #ConcreteInnovation #ScienceAndTechnologyPolicy #Roundtable #Sustainability #CementIndustry #GreenCement #Decarbonization #Innovation #Fortera

Fortera is proud to be part of the #FirstMoversCoalition, the world's largest private sector demand signal for emerging climate technologies in heavy-emitting sectors. We joined the FMC to accelerate the market for decarbonization technologies critical to meeting the 1.5°C climate target. As pioneers in green cement, our commitment aligns perfectly with the coalition's goals. This week, we were pleased to join the FMC leadership team and fellow FMC member companies at a workshop in Washington, DC, to dive deep into problem-solving for the barriers to meeting the growing demand for low-carbon products and services. Together with the First Movers Coalition, we're not just envisioning a sustainable future—we're building it. #ClimateAction #SustainableBuilding #CleanCement #GreenCement #Decarbonization #EmergingTechnology
