Today, millions will be tuning in to watch the opening ceremony in Paris! 🔥Here at FORVIA, we’re celebrating our world-class athletes too. Recently, teams around the globe participated in various challenges, and we proudly supported them! Here’s a selection: 🚴 The Meet Me Halfway cycling challenge made a triumphant return! FORVIA Faurecia teams in Poland and their FORVIA HELLA colleagues in met in Berlin. What better way to build strong connections? ⌚️ 20 hours, 10 minutes, and 14 seconds. That’s all it took for the Nagykata plant teams in Hungary to conquer the 211-kilometer Ultrabalaton race. We can hardly believe it 🤯 🏃 Meanwhile, MATERI'ACT teams ran the Run for the Planet race, blending sport and awareness. This event highlights ecological, social, and ethical challenges while raising funds for committed organizations. 🎾 Earlier this year in China, teams competed in a table tennis and badminton tournament. 🔴 We have received new ESG ratings from Sustainalytics, MSCI and Moodys Vigeo! The significantly improved scores demonstrate our commitment to reducing our environmental and social impact and promoting corporate governance best practices: ➡️Sustainalytics granted FORVIA a rating of 9.3, representing a shift to the “Negligible Risk” category compared with the previous rating (low risk). ➡️Moodys Vigeo granted FORVIA a rating of 65/100, representing a 3-point improvement over the previous rating. ➡️In addition, MSCI has maintained the A rating already assigned to FORVIA in 2023. Since 2019, we have been rolling out numerous initiatives, such as: ➡️ the use of renewable energies, ➡️ the design of “Designed for Scope 3” products, ➡️ and the establishment of MATERI'ACT, our subsidiary dedicated to low-carbon footprint materials. 🔥 Introducing a new headlamp concept for the Q6 e-tron in collaboration with AUDI AG 🔥 FORVIA HELLA and the German premium manufacturer have worked on this concept with a major innovation: The digital daytime running light matrix allows drivers to choose their preferred digital lighting. With up to eight preset designs ➡️ the appearance of the Matrix LED headlamps can be highly personalized. We’re proud to develop technologies that empower car users to shape the appearance of their vehicle’s front!

🔴 We just opened a seat assembly plant in Thailand with BYD! The launch of production – in just one month from now! – is a major milestone for us: ✅ Deepening our global technical partnership with the Chinese automaker BYD, initiated in 2017 and based on a shared vision for the decarbonization of the automotive industry. ✅ Complementing our existing industrial presence in Thailand across our Interiors, Electronics, and Clean Mobility Businesses. ✅ Strengthening our presence in the Asia-Pacific region – in line with FORVIA’s West to East strategy of benefiting from Asian growth. In this plant, complete seats for BYD’s electrical and hybrid vehicle fleet – including the ATTO 3 and Song Plus – will be assembled.

In the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France, we’re gearing up to accelerate hydrogen tank production! ⚡️ Our sites are scaling up with the installation of new machinery: At Allenjoie, the 1st mass production plant for hydrogen storage tanks for mobility applications in Europe, upgrade works are in full swing! The next generation machines constitute a new high-capacity line that will enhance our manufacturing process. 👉👉 maximized winding time, same quality level, more flexibility. The products from this almost entirely automated process will equip vehicles starting in 2025. Coming 🔜 fully automatic lines for mass production! Meanwhile, a few kilometers away at the Bavans R&D center, teams are preparing to set up new test equipment for XL tanks. These tanks are designed for heavy mobility applications. Many thanks to our local and international private and public partners for their support. We too believe that hydrogen will play a key role in tomorrow's mobility!

Today is Artificial Intelligence Appreciation Day! In the automotive industry too, AI is becoming a game changer for various applications. At FORVIA, we have identified over 250 use cases for generative AI. But what can AI concretely bring to us? ➡️ It will help us expand our portfolio of products. Take for example car access applications, autonomous parking, or other driver assistance and safety features. ➡️ It will significantly boost our R&D efforts. Our software developers are using AI-tools like GitHub Copilot to assist in programming. ✅ Saves time ✅ Lets them focus on value creation instead The biggest challenge? The possibilities are endless, but we need to prioritize high-impact AI use cases.
