  • While searching for a dentist, we came across this office designed to look just like a tooth! It serves as a playful reminder of the powerful impact that office design can have on creativity, productivity, and well-being. There is plenty of research showing how thoughtful office layouts—featuring elements like natural lighting, ergonomic furniture, and unique architecture—help create spaces that inspire people to do their best work. But for many, the shift to remote work means that our home offices need the same care and attention to keep us productive and engaged. Whether it’s a comfortable chair or a small plant, these personal touches in home offices matter more than ever.

  • “Grilled chicken breast, bacon, cheese, red onion, bechamel sauce and parmesan cheese. All our burritos are placed on a 50-centimeter flour tortilla.” That’s basically what we lived off of when we traveled in Mexico City to see Metallica close out their 2024 world tour. And while the deliciousness of those burritos reminds us of a great vacation, it is how the band makes sure everyone enjoys their shows that has really stuck with us. The recipe for a perfect Metallica show is: Fast, complex rhythms. Strumming power chords. Shouted vocals with lyrics that edge toward dark and nihilistic. Plus, hard driving percussion. But what if you couldn’t hear the band perform? That’s what Rachel Berman, who is deaf, faces every day. In a Colorado Public Radio article, Berman explained that when she attends a show, the ASL interpreter is there to “give her the words, the accessibility…it’s a different way of experiencing music, but we can still enjoy it.” It's no different than when someone with a disability lands on your website, they’re looking for access. And they have a right to find ADA accessibility accommodations that make it easier for them to use screen readers, adapt contrast, find text alternatives, and to authenticate login credentials. And really, that’s just the start of what goes into creating a truly accessible online experience. With nearly 26% of the adult population living with a disability, it’s a population you can’t afford to ignore. Accessible web design just makes the web work better – for everyone. More than ever, a diverse population of differently-abled people need to be able to access information and services online. I think you’ll agree: accessibility rocks! #marketing #accessibility #website

  • The team at Forward Push loves to get out and shake hands and kiss babies. But, over the years we have realized that networking events can be a roll of the dice - sometimes you hit the jackpot, and other times, you’re left wondering if anything meaningful will come out of it. That’s exactly how we felt at a monthly networking happy hour we love to attend. Here’s what took place: We were chatting with Mary, an attorney we hadn’t seen before. It turns out despite having a brand new website, Mary wasn’t getting the attention she deserved from her marketing agency. Her firm seemed to be an afterthought once her website went live, with no strategy in place to generate a return on her investment. Why are we sharing this with you? Because we almost didn’t attend that happy hour, but something told us we should. And when we first started speaking to Mary, it was one of those serendipitous moments where things just aligned. Since that meeting, Mary has become one of our best client success stories at Forward Push. From the moment the rest of the Forward Push team met Mary at our business deep-dive, our version of a discovery call, where we explored the firm’s brand, unique value propositions, and practice areas to identify key challenges, everyone has felt something special about this relationship. We’re many months from that initial happy hour and Mary’s website is now optimized to be found by what she considers his best clients. Additionally, with a focus on content she’s been able to share her expertise through blog articles and social media posts. Things are going in the right direction, which feels great. But what feels better is when we recently asked Mary how things have been going, and she said that our work has been “instrumental in increasing inquiries” for her law firm. Now that’s how we define serendipity. #marketing #lawfirmmarketing #legalmarketing

  • Why isn't your family law firm' website seeing the traffic you expected? The secret is simple: your content must connect. Family law firms need a content strategy that educates, builds trust, and positions you as the voice families can depend on. Think about the impact of addressing key concerns like divorce, custody, or adoption in a blog post — offering guidance can convert casual readers into clients. When your content answers their questions, you’re not just building authority; you’re building relationships that last. Need inspiration? Try these ideas: 1. Steps to Take Before Filing for Divorce 2. Understanding Child Custody Laws in Your State 3. How to Navigate Co-Parenting After Divorce Want more content ideas? • Imagine working in an office so massive - 3.1 million square feet to be exact - that you need a bike just to get around. Yep, that’s what it was like when I spent the day at Google’s headquarters. And while at my office, we’re not working with millions of square feet, that doesn't mean we aren't committed to making life as easy and rewarding as possible for our team. We recently wrapped up Enrichment Week, a week dedicated entirely to learning and personal growth. Our team spent their normal work hours learning new skills using the online learning tool Skillshare, reading the best marketing books, and even picked up new hobbies. One of our team members found a new passion in embroidery, sparking fresh creativity in her work. This is your reminder that it’s not about the size of your office; it's about how you support your team within it. #google #googlebike #worklifebalance #mentalhealthatwork

  • Running a sole or small law firm comes with unique challenges, which was confirmed when we attended the recent Sole Practitioner & Small Firm Section lunch hosted by the Atlanta Bar Association. The discussion, "Solo Success: Navigating the Early Years of Your Law Practice," made it clear that the key to thriving in a sole or small practice is having Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in place from the start. If you weren’t able to attend, here are the two biggest takeaways from the event: Michael Drake, founder of Drake Legal, shared his thoughts on the importance of having systems and procedures early on to keep things running smoothly, while John Martin, of Treebank Legal, added that he wished he had automated repetitive tasks from the beginning, saving time and headaches down the road. As a marketing partner for law firms, we know the difference that streamlined processes make — and this conversation confirmed it. This is Forward Push’s third year sponsoring this Section, and we’re always excited to continue supporting the sole and small law firms we serve. Want to make sure your firm is running like a well-oiled machine? Let’s talk about how SOPs and automation can help you get there.

  • Don’t judge us, please, but at Forward Push we watch a lot of YouTube that is for mainly geared towards teenagers. One of our favorite creators is a guy name Jesser. Ask any basketball loving teen and you can bet they’ve heard of him. He’s pretty funny, great on camera, and you can tell he and his buddies love what they are doing and have respect for the game. Jesser has made us like basketball. That’s why when our graphic designer stumbled upon this world record, we wanted to learn more. Did you know in 1996, Ted St. Martin of Jacksonville, Florida (Go Jacksonville 95ers!) made 5,221 consecutive free throws? Not bad for a guy who believed that his success was not just about natural talent but also about technique and practice. And while you are not reading our post to become the next Michael Jordan, what does St. Martin's attitude have to do with the practice of law? St. Martin was able to make those 5,221 consecutive free throws through a combination of skill, precision, and consistency. A law firm can do the same to attract a steady stream of clients by leveraging paid ads. The ads work like St. Martin's free throws — one after another, consistently bringing in high-quality leads without missing the mark. With each ad, your firm gains more visibility, builds trust, and ultimately scores more clients. Now imagine yourself getting ready to dunk the winning basket. #lawfirmmarketing #lawyers #attorneys

  • Is your law firm advertising online? If so, are you confident your ads are getting in front of the right people? With Google's Local Service Ads, you'll be like an archer who hits the bullseye every time. (Yes, we are still in our Olympics cheer phase) Local Service Ads have that kind of targeted precision. Here are some of the benefits they offer: ● Local Service Ads show up at the very top of Google search results, above organic search results and traditional pay per click (PPC) ads. ● Your ad will feature your headshot, which helps build your credibility and trust with a user. ● Your ads are serviced exclusively to local people searching for the legal service you provide. ● Google’s Local Service Ads operate on a pay per lead model, rather than the traditional pay per click, so you'll likely have a better ROI. If you’re interested in learning more about Local Service Ads and why all the smart lawyers are using them to generate more leads and more revenue, check out the Resources page on our website. It will take you to our new article that breaks it all down. #localserviceads #googleads #lawfirmmarketing
