From Oct 21-25, Fos Feminista joined the world’s largest gathering focused on gender-based violence (GBV) and violence against women and girls (VAWG). 🌍💪 Alongside 15 partner organizations, Fos Feminista staff and our CEO participated in impactful sessions exploring feminist approaches to engaging men and boys in GBV prevention. ✨ Event Highlights: 📌 Poster Presentations on GBV, reproductive justice, pregnancy and abortion by our South African partner SRJC and Fos Feminista, alongside global allies like PSI and Maverick Collective. 📌 Panel Presentation by Iniciativas Sanitarias on the Thula Sana model, discussing supportive parenting for newborns. 📌 Dialogue Session with Equimundo, Men Engage Alliance, and partners from Paraguay, Ecuador, Côte d’Ivoire, and Uganda, hosting over 100 attendees for an interactive discussion on engaging boys and men in GBV prevention. The collaborative energy and shared reflections throughout the event drive our commitment to GBV prevention forward! ✊
