Oceanic Network Staff Maryanne Jefferson and Nancy Kirshner Rodriguez spent this past weekend at the 2nd annual POWER CA Conference! At the conference they got industry updates and explored the many ways that offshore wind will participate in the community and engage their many diverse interests. Sloane Perras, from Foss Offshore Wind, provided a broad overview of the current global offshore wind market and talked about our recently published Suppliers Guide (https://bit.ly/4btxnTE ), that maps out what CA and other west coast states need to prioritize to ensure the development of a diverse supply chain. Thanks to Scott Adair, ACE and the team at Humboldt County for convening these industry experts and enthusiasts for this important event.
