About us

The Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR) is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing civil rights and liberties for all Americans, and promoting a common culture based on fairness, understanding and humanity. We defend civil liberties and rights guaranteed to each individual, including freedom of speech and expression, equal protection under the law, and the right to personal privacy. We advocate for individuals who are threatened or persecuted for speech, or who are held to a different set of rules for language or conduct based on their skin color, ancestry, or other immutable characteristics. We support respectful disagreement. We believe bad ideas are best confronted with good ideas – and never with dehumanization, deplatforming or blacklisting. We believe that objective truth exists, that it is discoverable, and that scientific research must be untainted by any political agenda. We are pro-human, and promote compassionate anti-racism rooted in dignity and our common humanity.

  • Parents are told teaching young children gender identities in schools is necessary for LGBTQ and nonbinary students to feel included. But when small kids are taught gender identities, are other impacts on childhood development parents should know about? • “I have accepted that I may never have the art career I want due to speaking out against antisemitism, and I have received angry social media messages and lost friendships over my stances. Speaking up does come with an unfortunate social cost—this is why doing the right thing is usually at odds with taking the easy art-career-saving way out. But I am free and I do not live in fear.” Read the rest of FAIR’s Article this week: 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲; 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 by FAIR artist Julia Wald . • “Being anti-Zionist is the fashionable and politically correct opinion to hold in almost all creative communities in the West at the moment. And, as I have watched grassroots arts communities fall in line with the orthodoxies of our times (such as Critical Race Theory, totalitarian speech codes, and a Euro-centric historical worldview) it's not surprising that all roads lead to hatred of the Jew.” From FAIR’s article,𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲; 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 by FAIR artist Julia Wald. • Exploring the Consequences of Introducing Gender Ideology to Young Children The Human Rights Campaign Foundation believes it is important to introduce gender identity principles to educators and school districts to improve school climate with gender and LGBTQ+ inclusive trainings. These gender and LGBTQ+ school policies introduce topics that young children are not otherwise exposed to. in this webinar, we welcome attorney Vernadette Broyles and therapist Pamela Garfield-Jaeger to explore the effects on childhood development. To ask questions during the webinar’s Q&A, feel free to put them in the comments section of whichever social media platform you are tuning in from (if you are attending the webinar via Zoom, put them in the Q&A section of your screen). We will be on the lookout and collect all questions and get to them during the Q&A!

  • It was an unforgettable evening at our NYC screening of “Killing America,” Eli Steele’s compelling film exploring the explosion of violent, antisemitic, and anti-American protests at our universities in the wake of the October 7th attacks. 🎬✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us for this exclusive film screening, which was followed by a poignant discussion with Dr. Diana Blum, Dr. Naya Lekht, and Wai Wah Chin moderated by FAIR in the Arts Director Brent Morden. This conversation brought new insights about the dehumanization and radicalization of students in our schools and what WE can do to uplift a better vision reclaiming our common humanity.
