About us

The Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR) is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing civil rights and liberties for all Americans, and promoting a common culture based on fairness, understanding and humanity. We defend civil liberties and rights guaranteed to each individual, including freedom of speech and expression, equal protection under the law, and the right to personal privacy. We advocate for individuals who are threatened or persecuted for speech, or who are held to a different set of rules for language or conduct based on their skin color, ancestry, or other immutable characteristics. We support respectful disagreement. We believe bad ideas are best confronted with good ideas – and never with dehumanization, deplatforming or blacklisting. We believe that objective truth exists, that it is discoverable, and that scientific research must be untainted by any political agenda. We are pro-human, and promote compassionate anti-racism rooted in dignity and our common humanity.

  • BREAKING NEWS! This past weekend, FAIR in Medicine Director Nikki Johnson’s access to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) annual conference was revoked with no explanation. Investigative journalist Benjamin Ryan reports the reason might be her affiliation with FAIR. Johnson had earlier pre-registered for virtual access and paid the $695 registration fee. Her registration was confirmed, but was denied only hours before the conference began. Here's Johnson describing what happened: https://lnkd.in/eq6FJ4ax

  • Thirteen years after living as a man and undergoing transgender medical treatments, Tiger Reed, has decided to detransition and return to being Roxxane. Tiger is the spouse of Jamie Reed, the former case manager at  the Washington University School of Medicine who became a whistleblower to expose the harm of “gender-affirming care” to minors. In her personal essay in The Free Press this week, Tiger explains her decision to speak out about adult gender medicine, and how people have been misled by gender clinicians about its safety and effectiveness. https://lnkd.in/euqHCkwa
