The future of dementia science is bright 💡 thanks to dedicated researchers from around the world, including Argentine neuropsychologist Dr. Lucía Crivelli. “Funding from the Alzheimer's Association has been very important in my career, but it has also been very important for my region. The Association is funding LatAm-FINGERS — this trial is taking place in 12 countries across Latin America to study risk reduction and dementia prevention in the region. I am very excited about dementia prevention and risk reduction, primarily in low to middle income countries, because I know we can make a difference there. I am hopeful about the new treatments that are studying to surge. I'm also hopeful about changing people’s lifestyles to prevent diseases that don't have to take place.” Dr. Lucía Crivelli, an Alzheimer’s Association funded neuropsychologist and member of @ISTAART #BrightMinds #ALZfunded #AAIC24
