If you don’t know the story of Zingerman's, you should check out the link in the comments. "𝘐𝘯 𝘢 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐’𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺, 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘭, 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨."  - 𝘈𝘳𝘪 𝘞𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘻𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘨 As we navigate the challenges of strategic recruiting and/or job searching, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and often discouraged by the grind. However, don’t lose sight of the fact that there are always unique candidates and companies out there that stand out and who are doing something special. A few years ago, I had the privilege of participating in a unique training session in Ann Arbor, MI, where I met and learned from Ari Weinzweig and his wonderful team at ZingTrain. It was the most enjoyable onsite training experience I have ever had. We learned well, ate extremely well and built lasting relationships along the way. I have been a raving fan of Zingerman’s ever since. in 𝘈 𝘓𝘢𝘱𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘈𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, Ari shares that uniqueness radiates from those that - have a vision, the courage to buck trends, and a commitment to excellence. They believe in a better tomorrow, contribute positively to others, and go the extra mile. They build great relationships, have fun, appreciate their achievements, and persist through challenges. As someone who routinely speaks to company executives and individual business professionals, I am increasingly confident that there is a lot more uniqueness out there than many realize. Companies with exciting plans and visions for growth. Candidates with unique achievements and styles of performance, eager to contribute in even more meaningful ways. Let's start this week by recognizing and celebrating those unique individuals and organizations that bring a special energy to our work and lives. Better is within our reach, and together, we can make it happen. Have a great start to the week!
