The Zanon family will host a celebration of life on Sunday, Dec 3rd, from 1-5pm PST at their home at 1508 West 12th St, Port Angeles, WA, 98363 For those in the DC/VA/MD area, we'll be raising a cup of tea, or no more than 1 beer (aka Jason's standard), at the same time at The Admiral in Dupont Circle from 4-6:30 EST on Sunday 12/3. If you wish, bring a story to share about Jason, or about something he loved (or hated). We deeply appreciate the kind words and messages of support from the Frakture community in the wake of Jason's passing. His wife Ksenia has requested that in lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Center for Civilians in Conflict, an organization supporting humanitarian efforts in Gaza. https://lnkd.in/eKbbwd6g

With deep sadness and broken hearts, we are sharing that our colleague and dear friend Jason Zanon passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Thanksgiving, November 23rd 2023. Jason has been with Frakture since the company began eight years ago, and had worked closely with Chris Lundberg for nearly 20 years since their days at Salsa/Democracy In Action. We will remember Jason most for his understated brilliance, his extraordinary diligence, his endless patience, and his relentless humor and positivity. We already miss him more than any words can convey. We’ll keep this post on the Frakture website updated with any additional information from his family. We ask that you keep Jason's family in your thoughts, and please bear with us as we adjust operations in the wake of this tragedy. https://lnkd.in/esnWBgGk

We at Mobile Commons are deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected loss of Jason Zanon, a valued partner from Frakture, Inc, who passed away on November 23, 2023. Jason was widely known and respected as a technical titan within the progressive community. His unparalleled expertise in making complex technical issues appear effortless was remarkable. His proficiency with data, APIs, and CRM connections not only showcased his exceptional talent but also made a significant impact in our collaborative endeavors. His loss is a profound one, not only for his technical skills but for the warmth and integrity he brought into every interaction. Jason’s presence was a beacon of inspiration and knowledge, and his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all of us at Mobile Commons, and by everyone who had the pleasure of working with him. Our thoughts are with Jason's family and the entire team at Frakture during this incredibly difficult time. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all who knew Jason and were touched by his remarkable spirit.

We've submitted two session proposals for the upcoming 24NTC conference, and we need your help during the community input phase of session selection (you will need to sign in or create an account to give feedback). NTC conferences are community-driven events, and your input plays a crucial role in determining which sessions will be included in the conference program. We’d really appreciate it if you could participate in providing community input for the conference.  There are so many great session proposals! This year, we’re focusing on two important themes: comprehensive cross-client data analysis and what to expect with the demise of third party cookies. To provide input for our sessions, please follow these simple steps: 1. Either log in or create an account (if you do not already have one). Click the links below.  https://lnkd.in/gW5WzscZ https://lnkd.in/gSwTNZvb 2. Go to the “What do you think?” input section on the right hand side of the page and “like” the proposal. This lets the conference organizers know that you recommend this session to be selected for the conference. 3. If you have time and are interested, look through other session proposals and provide feedback on sessions that you think would make a good contribution to the conference. Your input will contribute to the overall quality of the conference program and help us share valuable insights with a wider audience. If you have any questions or would like more information about our session, feel free to reach out!
