The historic Hoyt Barnum House, built in 1699, has found a new home! Originally located on Bedford Street, the house was moved to High Ridge Road to allow for the construction of a new police station, but the past hasn’t been forgotten. Freeman Companies had the privilege of providing landscape architecture and civil design services to recreate the charm of the house’s original surroundings at its new location. This project beautifully bridges Stamford's progress as a growing modern city with its dedication to preserving history. On June 14, 2017, we celebrated this exciting relocation during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
