The Fresno County Superintendent of Schools provides leadership, services and technical assistance to the county's 32 school districts and charter schools. Serving more than 205,000 students, the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools has a legislative mandate to ensure that school districts remain fiscally solvent and in compliance with state and federal laws. It also serves as a safety net for students with special needs, offering direct services for migrant, special education and court and community school students.
