Last week, our team partnered with Christie Digital Systems for an intensive training session on the latest addition to our fleet—the Christie M4K25 RGB laser projector. This cutting-edge piece of technology, with its 25,000 lumens and true RGB laser capabilities, represents a significant leap forward in color accuracy and performance 🚀 During the training, our team delved into laser safety protocols and even performed a full teardown of the projector. This hands-on experience is invaluable, ensuring that our techs and freelancers are fully confident in operating these advanced systems. We also had the pleasure of hosting members from the Local 110 projectionist union, which added another layer of expertise and camaraderie to the session 🔗 Partnering with Christie Digital Systems, a longstanding industry leader, allows us to consistently deliver high-quality, innovative solutions to our clients. As proud partners, we were entrusted with the full set design conceptualization and production of the entire stage, including custom fabricated elements and graphics, as well as providing all lighting, AV, and programming for this incredible event. Hearing from visionary leaders like Chef Grant Achatz, Co-owner of The Alinea Group, world-renowned Artist and Social Innovator, Theaster Gates, Business and Civic Leader, Christie Hefner and S.C. Johnson Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, Philip Kotler, who each shared their experiences on how innovation fuels their success, was truly inspiring. When you marry your best friend under a canopy of flowers and disco balls 🤍🪩 This wedding took our breaths away! From the intricate white floral canopy that surrounded the bride and groom to the ethereal ambiance that filled the dance floor, everything was simply breathtaking. 📸 Our team was honored to provide all the lighting, rigging, and drapery that brought this fairytale to life. This project was especially exciting due to the unique challenges and collaborative efforts involved: 1. Rigging Expertise: The venue had existing ceiling elements that we had to work around. We collaborated closely with the décor company to develop a rigging plan that not only met the bride and groom's vision but was also logistically feasible. This partnership ensured that every detail was perfect for the big day. 2. Hands-On Planning: @ev.designcollective hosted their décor sample at our warehouse, allowing us to spend extra time with the bride and groom during the planning process. These meetings were instrumental in aligning our efforts to create the desired ambiance. 3. Transformative Design: To enhance the guest experience, we added disco balls to the design during the room flip between the ceremony and dinner. This addition further elevated the space, giving it a distinct look and feel when guests returned to continue the celebrations. This wedding was truly a testament to the power of collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail. 🌞What an incredible day at the annual Frost Family Picnic! On Wednesday, we hosted all our amazing Frost Chicago employees and their families for a day filled with fun, laughter, and connection. The afternoon was packed with exciting activities: games, bounce houses, obstacle courses, food trucks, a face painting station, a dunk tank, an ice cream truck, and music. A crowd favorite was definitely the dunk tank, where our bosses bravely took turns getting dunked by enthusiastic employees and their kids!
