Check out our latest case study on our work with Texoma Health Foundation 👇 FSG recently supported Texoma Health Foundation to engage in a community-centered strategic planning process. Together, we reimagined Texoma Health Foundation's role beyond grantmaking to serving as a community-wide advocate for mental well-being. Their story is a testament to how a funder can shift from a problem-solving approach to building an asset-based strategy with the community. We are so excited for what's next for the foundation! 👏 Read more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/ePBrjGk4 #health #philanthropy #strategicplanning

We have been thrilled to partner with Texoma Health Foundation on their recent strategic planning process! Together, we reimagined Texoma Health Foundation's role beyond grantmaking to serving as a community-wide advocate for mental well-being. This asset-based process strengthened Texoma's roles of regional convener, advocate, and capacity builder through centering community-led solutions. Michelle Lemming, President and CEO, Texoma Health Foundation said, "We challenged FSG to create a plan that is “bigger” than our foundation—a community-owned, community-led plan that is evidence-based—and maintain an assets lens in a rural community full of momentum, talent, and strengths. It was also important to us to have the FSG team help us engage those in community who are often unheard voices in community. They delivered on every challenge we gave them, and it is by far the strongest strategic plan I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of."  Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ePBrjGk4
