It was a privilege to celebrate the first cohort of our Talent Empowerment Program - a group of talented, driven individuals eager to grow. Watching them graduate from the program was incredibly rewarding. I’m deeply grateful for the leadership whose guidance empowers me to continuously enhance the experience of our staff within the Florida State University Division of Student Affairs. My goal is to meet each team member where they are and support their journey toward reaching their full potential. I look forward to what’s ahead for this program and our incredible staff. I know they will continue achieving great things, and I’m proud to be part of their journey. #TalentEmpowermentProgram #DSA #ProfessionalDevelopment #StaffExperience

This past weekend, Florida State University, FSU Campus Rec, and the Student Senate, in partnership with Aden Perry Hero Foundation, hosted Water Safety Day at the FSU Lakefront Park. We were honored to commemorate the installation of the Aden Perry Hero Life Ring Initiative, one of the first in the nation at a public university. The initiative commemorates Aden Perry, the brave 17-year-old who tragically drowned in 2022 while attempting to save a driver from a submerged vehicle. Now, rescue rings are in place at our lake to prevent future tragedies and educate our community on water safety. 🛟❤️ Read the full article: fla.st/6B6G0E6U

Proud of the great work of our IFC chapters to help with hurricane relief efforts!
Nearly 200 members of FSU’s Interfraternity Council (IFC) community traveled to Perry, Florida, the Sunday following Hurricane Helene to provide support with local clean-up efforts. The students spent the day picking up downed trees, moving furniture out of flooded houses and helping wherever else they could. “I was very touched by the initiative our IFC community showed,” said Amy Hecht, vice president for Florida State University Division of Student Affairs. “Their commitment to help out a community which was so significantly hit by this disaster was inspiring.” Read more at https://lnkd.in/e_GucW_p #FloridaStateUniversity #InterfraternityCouncil #FSUStudents
