Further enhancements to FTR Justice Cloud are set to be released, with the addition of an annotations feature. In this initial release, users can annotate FTR RealTime recordings with case information, including marking hearing start and end times and linking hearings with specific cases. This allows for quick access to hearing times in a recording from the new timeline view, the ability to browse cases and view all associated hearings, and the ability to search for hearings and cases throughout the court system. In upcoming releases, we'll be adding new features to simplify the process of adding hearing annotations, as well as introducing new types of annotations. For more information on annotating recordings with case information, view the full release note here: https://lnkd.in/g4VXaqVd Subscribe to the release notes to stay informed on upcoming updates.

We are pleased to be presenting at this year's NACM - National Association for Court Management Annual Conference. Join us in Churchill A (located on the 2nd floor of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside) today from 10:30 AM–11:45 AM for our session: "AI for Good: Addressing the Impacts of the Court Reporter Shortage." The disparity in supply and demand for stenographers has created distinct challenges for a system that promises expeditious and equal access to justice for all. This presentation will challenge the prevailing discourse about AI-based innovations in relation to the court record and demonstrate how speech-to-text technology can help fill a growing labor gap in courts and deliver more than just a record. You can also connect with the team at booth 403 to get a closer look at the technology in the Exhibit Hall. #justicetechnology

The National Center for State Courts recently released a report providing an overview of the findings of the Hybrid Hearings Improvement Initiative, which examined the permanent adoption of virtual and hybrid hearings. The report shares examples of how courts are advancing hybrid hearings in various jurisdictions. One such example is the Mohave County Superior Court in Arizona, which converted a courtroom into a hybrid space. Leveraging FTR Gold, the court is able to capture high-quality audio and video for hearings, while simultaneously monitoring and controlling hybrid hearings. Attending the NACM - National Association for Court Management 2024 Annual Conference? Ready to rethink how you capture, use, and manage court records? Visit us at booth 403/405 in the exhibit hall and check out our new portable audio kit. This compact technology package enables courts to access to FTR RealTime—and all the benefits of an instant, searchable speech-to-text record—without the associated time or expense of retrofitting a courtroom. For The Record's team will also be hosting an education session on Tuesday, July 23 from 10:30 - 11:45 AM. Join our session as we challenge prevailing ideas about capturing the court record and how speech-to-text technology can help deliver more than just a record. Learn more at the link below.

A widely used security protocol, Transport Layer Security (TLS) was developed to ensure privacy and data protection between applications communicating over a network. It helps safeguard web-based applications against data breaches and various other attacks. The TLS protocol achieves three primary objectives: encryption, authentication, and integrity. - Encryption: conceals the data being transmitted from third parties - Authentication: confirms that the entities exchanging information are genuine - Integrity: verifies that the data has not been altered or tampered with #justicetechnology #justicesecurity
