There are two (2) barriers to EV adoption: upfront cost & charging anxiety. The USA used to have (1) EV charging station per (7) EV drivers...this has now ballooned to (1) EV charging station per (20) EV drivers. "Between 2016 and 2023, EV registrations in the United States grew almost three times faster than the United States’ public charging infrastructure." Fulcrum is proud to be part of the solution by installing EV charging stations with federal, state, municipal, and C&I customers. Are you looking to add EV charging stations at your facility or with your client? If so, please contact Michelle (Sipe) Exaros, MBA at michelle.exaros@fulcrumenergy.com to start the conversation! New LED lamp standards! The Biden Administration announced new energy efficiency LED lamp standards that more than DOUBLES the current standards (going from 45 lumens per watt to more than 120 lumens per watt). 💡 💡 💡 The DOE projects this new standard will result in about $27 billion total savings and reduce GHG emissions by 70 million metric tons over a 30-year period. Full enforcement of the rule doesn't begin until 2029; however, many manufacturers and retailers are likely to take steps towards compliance before then. This is good news for consumers! The last survivor (Lou Conter) of the USS Arizona attacked during Pearl Harbor passed away yesterday at the age of 102. On 12/7/1941 he saved the lives of nearly 20 sailors. He went on to establish the Navy's first SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) Program, and he served as military advisor to Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Johnson. https://lnkd.in/eCNsF7iQ Fulcrum recognizes the dedication of our military members, and we stand with our uniformed brothers and sisters as they defend our nation and freedom. Thank you for your service, Lou Conter.

New EV prices dropped $2,000 in the U.S. last month, bringing EVs closer to price parity with gas-powered cars more than ever before. One of the key reasons for EV price reduction: falling battery prices. Batteries are nearly 90% cheaper than they were in 2008. When battery prices can make up to 40% of an EV cost, a reduction in battery prices goes a long way! Additionally, price drops include EVs sitting on dealership lots. Early adopters have their EVs, and now we're moving into the mainstream. Why aren't people enthusiastic about EVs? (1) Higher up-front costs (which are coming down) and (2) concerns about charging infrastructure. Fulcrum is proud to be part of the charging infrastructure solution. Between federal funding and utility EV rebates, there is no better time to make an investment in charging infrastructure for a cleaner and more efficient future. Contact our Vice President of Business Development, Michelle (Sipe) Exaros, MBA, for project assistance. We're ready to support you! Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/dtKRaee4
