Occupational therapy is all about helping people function in their daily lives and engage optimally in their daily occupations. For a child, his/her occupations include activities of daily living, education, social participation, play, and leisure activities. When a child is having difficulty functioning in any of their daily occupations, it’s time to seek the assistance of an occupational therapist. Our passion and goal is helping children learn the skills to function optimally in their daily lives. It begins by identifying the core deficiencies and putting together the missing pieces of the puzzle. Each child involves a unique and tailor made intervention plan, based on their personal deficits and struggles, and together we work to bridge that gap.
