Earlier this month, Yves Béhar, Founder and CEO of fuseproject, delivered the keynote at the BOAT International Media Superyacht Design Festival, exploring the future of sustainable innovation in yachting. His presentation highlighted Solsea, a groundbreaking hybrid-electric catamaran developed in partnership with Rossinavi. Launched last December at Design Miami, Solsea redefines what’s possible in yachting — seamlessly integrating futuristic design, cutting-edge technology, and a sustainability-first approach to create a vessel that is both stunning and responsible. On stage, Yves Béhar joined Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer at Rossinavi, for a conversation moderated by Glenn Adamson, delving into the design and innovation that brought Solsea to life. As yachting evolves, design and technology must lead the way—and this partnership is proof of what’s possible. What innovations are you most excited to see in the future of sustainable luxury? Let’s discuss. Watch the conversation at Design Miami https://lnkd.in/erKQved4 #design #innovation #luxury #sustainability #solar

Thank you, The Luxury of Ageing, for highlighting the transformative role of design in shaping the future of aging. The future of aging isn’t just about longevity—it’s about quality of life. For Qin Li, VP of Design at fuseproject, this means using design to empower independence, mobility, and connection. “There is vast potential for technology and design to create truly revolutionary innovations in this underserved space. Thoughtful, intuitive, and empowering solutions can reshape the aging experience for future generations.” At fuseproject, Qin has led the design of category-defining projects like #ElliQ, an AI companion that fosters connection and well-being for older adults, and the CIONIC Neural Sleeve, which restores mobility for individuals with neuromuscular conditions. Making a difference starts with a shift in mindset—seeing older adults not as a niche audience, but as a growing, dynamic group deserving of well-designed solutions. How can we push industries to invest in innovation for aging? Let’s discuss. Read more https://lnkd.in/e6_K66ee #design #innovation #Humancentereddesign #impact

We love supporting the next generation of designers! Qin Li, VP of Design fuseproject recently hosted a group of students from IDSA at UC Davis to see firsthand how human-centered design shapes our category-defining work. Qin Li shared insights from her +20 years at fuseproject working on projects such as #moxie, #elliq, Happiest Baby (the maker of SNOO), Herman Miller, and more. We can’t wait to see what the future holds! https://lnkd.in/e6br-DRu
A big thank you to fuseproject for hosting our club and giving us an inside glimpse at your incredible studio last Friday! 🎉 From product concept sketches to prototypes, we saw firsthand how human-centered design shapes groundbreaking and award-winning creations like Moxie, ElliQ, Sayl Chairs, and SNOO. Moxie, the AI-enabled companion, not only entertained us with his jokes but showcased how design can push the boundaries of innovation. 🤖💬 👏 A special thanks to Qin Li for the fantastic tour. We truly appreciate hearing about your experiences and invaluable insights. Key Takeaways: 💡 Modern industrial design focuses on user experience, not just form and function. 🔧 Design is an iterative process! Don't let the design problems you encounter in the first phases defeat you. 🌱 The choice and power to create sustainable designs rests with the designer. 🧠 Designers are lifelong learners! Our members left inspired by the work being done here and we can't wait to apply this knowledge to our projects! 🌟 - #IDSAatUCDavis #DesignCommunity #StudentDesigners #IndustrialDesign #FirmTour #fuseproject

A huge thank you to BOAT International Media for hosting Yves Béhar as this year’s Keynote Speaker at the Superyacht Festival. It was an incredible opportunity to share fuseproject’s perspective on design, sustainability, and innovation in yachting—and how we can shape a future that is both more sustainable and more enjoyable. Yves took the stage to discuss Solsea, a visionary 43-meter solar-electric catamaran designed in collaboration with Rossinavi. Drawing from his experience in product design, mobility, and sustainability, he explored how innovation in yachting can be redefined for a new generation of ocean lovers. “When you ask somebody, ‘What is your intent?’, you could say, ‘What is your design?’. ‘What is your plan?’ For me, design really accelerates the answers by remaining humanistic and by addressing the paradoxes of modern life.” — Yves Behar. Thank you to the entire BOAT International Media team for bringing together such an inspiring community. Looking forward to seeing how the future of yachting, design, and sustainability continues to evolve!
