Future Landscape Architects of America (FLAA)

What is landscape architecture? Team up with Future Landscape Architects of America (FLAA) to find out! FLAA is a non-profit organization focused on educating K-12 students about the career field of landscape architecture. Landscape architects design many of the places and spaces that are frequented on a daily basis. From your favorite community park to an entire city, landscape architects have played a major role in shaping the function and design of many communities. FLAA provides teachers and students with creative activities, educational tours, and exceptional insight into the types of projects landscape architects create and the impact a landscape architect has on their community. Students will have the opportunity to learn first-hand from landscape architects about the profession and participate in a variety of activities based on the chosen curriculum and timeline. FLAA is currently operating in partnership with the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (FLASLA) and with the support of Florida International University, the University of Florida, and private landscape architecture firms.
