A global 24/7 telemedical and medical case management service provider, exclusively to the maritime industry
About us
MedSea is the maritime arm of International SOS. We help ship owners, managers and operators to fulfil their Duty of Care to seafarers and build a resilient workforce. Every year we provide telemedical assistance to thousands of seafarers worldwide, supporting all types of physical and emotional health issues. This can be miles away from shore and 72% of cases are resolved on board, by focusing on prevention and early intervention. When a case cannot be resolved onboard, MedSea refers to our vast network of approved and audited shoreside medical providers to ensure that seafarers receive the highest level of care possible. Future Care is also part of the International SOS maritime provision. Through Future Care, we offer a range of additional services specific to vessels travelling in the Americas. This includes cost containment, medical clearance and telemedical solutions. For 25+ years MedSea and Future Care have been supporting the worldwide maritime community, helping to maintain happy, healthy vessels and seafarers.
