Manufacturers like Ferrari, McLaren and Koenigsegg recommend using a specific type of fuel for its engines. But if you’re looking to lower emissions without sacrificing performance, which way can you go? McLaren, Honda, Porsche, Koenigsegg and so many more, have all taken the route of combining ICE with electric in their hybrid supercars. Rimac and Lotus are the biggest players in the electric hypercar space, but companies like Mullen and Drako Motors have all made limited runs of exceptionally fast fully electric cars too. Leading the charge with hydrogen performance is Hyperion Motors XP-1, another car limited to only a handful but proving that hydrogen fuel cells can compete with the best ICE cars around.
