Sun Day Red is more than just a golf brand—their products are a nod to the precision and care Tiger Woods puts into his game. Tiger and Sun Day Red know that for success, every detail counts, right down to the socks—a value we share at FutureStitch. That’s why Sun Day Red approached us to develop a sock that infuses Tiger’s deep understanding of the game with performance and thoughtful design- we knew we were the perfect innovation partner. Meet the Cypress Sock lineup—offering advanced traction without silicone grippers to keep you grounded throughout your swing. Our team searched the planet for the ultimate grip yarn and found the perfect blend in Japan. Using innovative knitting techniques, we created the ideal combination of comfort and grip in a performance sock. Through a special twisting technique, wash process, and knit construction, we crafted the ultimate golf sock for the world's most famous golfer. https://ow.ly/zA1C50T7LNG #tigerwoods #golf #socks #knitinnovation #knitwear #sockinnovation #golfinnovation #sundayred #futurestitch #CypressSock

Quality American manufacturing isn’t just about the product—it’s about the craftsmanship and the people behind it. 79% of manufacturers report a talent shortage. At FutureStitch, we aim to solve that problem by tapping into an often-overlooked population: justice-impacted individuals. Monique, one of our embroidery technicians, learned to run our machines in just a few weeks. She’s now balancing her role here with her studies to become an addiction counselor. We don’t just want to build quality products in the USA—we want to build futures, fostering a workforce that is driven, skilled, resilient, and breaking the cycle of incarceration. #madeintheUSA #USmanufacturing #innovativemanufacturing #knitinnovation #socks #knitwear #circularknit #justiceimpacted #incarcerationtoemployment

How can I use capitalism to make the world a better place?    That’s the question I asked myself in 2018 when I started FutureStitch.    I already knew how to make the world’s best socks. Having co-founded Stance in 2009, we grew to become one of the most valuable companies in our industry. Building Stance was a beautiful learning process for me, and I envisioned using socks to build a new model of capitalism that benefits both people and the planet.    One of the things I knew we could tackle?     Dirty manufacturing processes and 92 million pounds of annual landfill-destined textile waste.    Step one? Make sustainability a core part of our business.    We prioritized gaining LEED Platinum certification—the highest in our class—which we have proudly held since 2019.    In Q1 of 2024, we set the big, audacious goal of becoming carbon-negative by 2030. Part of working toward that goal is considering every step of the process: How can we innovate each element to save energy and materials? How can we reuse our waste? How can we create products with no end-of-life that can be recaptured and reprocessed 1-to-1?    Knowing I needed to scale quickly to build an impact, I decided to focus on partnerships rather than my own brand. By our second year, we had more employees than I had at Stance and several world-class customers who care about both quality product and making the world a better place.   The planet is just one part of our mission at FutureStitch. In the coming weeks and months, I’ll dive more into how we solve problems for people too.    How can you use your experience and expertise to make the world better?    There might be a business model there that can both benefit others and create financial security for you and for your family.

A core tenet of the FutureStitch mission is to leave the world a better place—but how can we do that when over 3.3 billion socks end up in landfills each year? Enter UNLESS Collective. When they approached us with a vision to develop and manufacture a sock made from 100% oil-free biodegradable materials, we knew our values aligned. Our teams worked together for a year to create the Zilch sock. The Zilch sock decomposes naturally at the end of its lifecycle. Finding the right material mix was precision work. Blending organic cotton, corn-based yarns, natural rubber, and yarns extracted from wood fiber allowed us to achieve the perfect mixture of comfort and durability. Wear the socks out and let nature do the rest. https://lnkd.in/eP6CSxUz #SustainableFashion #BiodegradableSocks #CircularEconomy #EcoFashion #SustainableMaterials #EcoInnovation

There’s a certain beauty in the knitting process. It’s about taking hundreds of threads and weaving them together into something intended to make the world a little comfier, a little cozier, and a little better. Our knitting technicians, like Mary, can make a sock in about three and a half minutes. We can do everything in-house in the USA—from development and design to production and manufacturing—allowing us to take an idea from concept to sock in days rather than months. #knitproduction #craftsmanship #knitinnovation #knitdesign #usamanufacturing #madeintheUSA #madeinUSA #circularfashion #circularknit #justiceimpacted #incarcerationtoemployment

Creating the perfect sock starts with the right skills and the right technology. At FutureStitch, we use high-end Italian circular knitting machines to produce our premium socks. Using this advanced equipment, we are able to knit socks without a seam on the toe, making them extremely comfortable and durable for long-term wear! Mary started on our production floor and now leads our knitting operations here in Oceanside! She trained for over a year to learn the intricacies of overseeing the knitting machines. #SockInnovation #CircularKnitting #PremiumKnitwear #TextileTech #SockDesign #futurestitch #justiceimpacted #incarcerationtoemployment #circularfashion
