Meet one of our student interns, Matt Riggins! While in his final clinical rotation, Matt is working with Brian Greene, PT DPT out of our Essex location. "I'm really excited about the increased exposure to sports-related injuries, particularly in overhead athletes. Since September is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Awareness Month, we wanted to shed a bit of light on this topic. PCOS is the most common hormonal disorder in females of reproductive age. Despite it's prevalence, PCOS is underdiagnosed, frequently taking a long time to be identified, often over a year. And while there is no cure for PCOS, there are a variety of treatments to help reduce or minimize bothersome symptoms, including physical therapy!
