Meet two remarkable 8th-grade graduates: Carlos Trujillo and Axel Arizcorreta, members of our inaugural GCS 2 8th grade class. With resilience and determination, both these young men resolutely overcame challenges without ever giving up. Carlos now heads to Bravo Medical Magnet High School, while Axel pursues his journey at Synergy Quantum Academy High School. We wish both Carlos and Axel continued success in their respective journeys.

We are excited to announce that three students from GCS 1, Maite, Annabelle, and Madison, and two students from GCS 2, Nathan and Abigail have received dance scholarships for the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) Summer Arts Conservatory! These students will participate in daily conservatory-style dance classes, with the program culminating in a showcase for their families. Let's give these students a round of applause for their dedication and talent in the arts! 👏👏👏

Thank you to the Angelus Temple, for providing GCS 1 & 2 a welcoming venue for our 2024 dance recital! We appreciate your partnership in showcasing GCS dancers in our shared community.

Meet our distinguished alum twins, Mark and Paul Torres. Both were award-winning GCS graduates. Both are at UCLA, with Mark in pre-med and Paul in pre-dental. In reflecting about their time at our school, Mark shares: "Thank you, GCS teachers, for not only being my teachers but also my dear mentors and role models"

At the final Dodgers Foundation Family Reading Academy workshop of the school year, caregivers gained insights into bridging processes and language comprehension. A parent attending the workshop series mentioned that she "learned a lot and had fun while doing so." We are thrilled to announce that Gabriella Charter Schools is set to receive $2.6 million in grant funds from the California Department of Education's Community School Partnership Program (CCSPP) over the next five years. This grant will help us in creating inclusive and restorative school communities, supporting the academic success of our students, and expanding our partnerships with families in collaboration with local communities.
