Another day of spreading health awareness among our students! We organized an educational workshop led by our Clinical Dietitian Shaimaa for 5th, 6th, and 7th graders at Al Sholaa Private School - Boys. The session focused on the importance of making healthier lifestyle choices and reducing the consumption of junk food. Around 200-250 students attended, and informative nutrition flyers and vouchers were distributed to promote nutritional awareness among the students. يوم آخر من نشر الوعي الصحي بين طلابنا! نظمنا ورشة عمل توعوية تثقيفية بقيادة أخصائية التغذية شيماء لطلاب الصف الخامس والسادس والسابع في مدرسة الشعلة الخاصة - للبنين. ركزت الجلسة على أهمية اتخاذ خيارات نمط حياة صحية وتقليل استهلاك الأطعمة السريعة. حضر الفعالية حوالي 200-250 طالب، وتم توزيع منشورات وكوبونات تغذوية لتعزيز الوعي الغذائي بين الطلاب. In celebration of World Heart Day, we hosted a dynamic event focused on heart health! Invited by the Ministry of Health, Shaima Alhalabi delivered an engaging lecture on the vital connection between heart health, nutrition, and lifestyle. Participants benefited from InBody tests and personalized consultations with Shaima, while physiotherapist Alaa Al Halaby provided one-on-one sessions. We also offered important blood pressure and sugar tests, along with exciting contests and valuable gifts, including free Hijama vouchers to winners! A memorable day at the Dental Campaign! On September 17th, we facilitated a workshop on dental hygiene for KG-Elementary students, led by Dr. Khayam, at Cloud British Private School. Organized by the Ministry of Health, we were honored to be invited to coordinate this important event and help raise awareness of oral health among young students. يوم مميز في حملة طب الأسنان! في 17 سبتمبر، قدمنا ورشة عمل لطلاب رياض الأطفال والمرحلة الابتدائية حول نظافة الأسنان بالتعاون مع وزارة الصحة. د. خيّام قدّم محاضرة قيمة في مدرسة السحاب البريطانية الخاصة، حيث تم دعوة فريقنا لتنسيق هذه الفعالية والمساهمة في نشر الوعي بصحة الفم بين الطلاب. Gaelan Hospital recently participated in the First Aid Workshop at Al Shola Private School for Boys, organized by the Ministry of Health and Prevention. The event equipped students and faculty with essential first aid skills and provided bus drivers with crucial emergency management knowledge. Gaelan Hospital wrapped up its participation in the "Prevention of Heat Exhaustion and Diseases" campaign, organized by the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Sharjah Family Affairs Council. Over the last two days, Dr. Reem and our team provided dental check-ups, blood pressure, and sugar tests for workers. On the fifth day, we served 300 workers at Dibba Al-Hisn Cultural Center, and on the final day, we reached more than 850 workers at Sharjah Cultural Sports Club, ensuring their well-being during the summer heat. اختتم مستشفى جايلان مشاركته في حملة "الوقاية من الإنهاك الحراري والأمراض"، التي تنظمها وزارة الصحة ووقاية المجتمع ومجلس شؤون الأسرة بالشارقة. على مدار اليومين الأخيرين، قدمت د. ريم وفريقنا فحوصات الأسنان وضغط الدم وفحوصات السكر للعمال. في اليوم الخامس، خدمنا 300 عامل في المركز الثقافي بدبا الحصن، وفي اليوم الأخير، تم تقديم الرعاية لأكثر من 850 عامل في نادي الشارقة الرياضي الثقافي.
