Shout Out to our Galvion teammate, Michael Huffman, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM who mobilized in the wake of Hurricane Helene and headed out with some equally dedicated friends to help. This small team sourced supplies and donations and delivered 3500 pounds of materials to those in need. Mike used some of our power management gear to keep everything charged and ready to go. Well done, Mike & friends.

We have spent 20+ years imagining and developing a vision of the 'future integrated soldier', adjusting and refining with the introduction of new technologies, new competencies, new partners, and new thinking. This latest program to develop the Future Integrated Dismounted Soldier Vision (FIDSV) with the UK MoD's Defence Science and Technology Lab Dstl was an incredible opportunity to leverage the scope of Galvion's capabilities across head systems, body-worn power and data architecture, software development and integration. The team will be at DVD Event this week with some of the FIDSV system, along with our current tactical head solutions and power & data systems. Come by the booth to check it out C4-112 #dvd #ukmod #soldiersystems #military #integration #poweranddata #technology #galvion

We were honored to have the Canadian Ambassador to Poland, Her Excellency Catherine Godin, visit us on day 1 at MSPO. With the recent follow-on orders received through the DICE Canada program, our flagship Caiman helmet is in service for Canadian troops, as well as wider NATO countries through the NSPA framework contract. With our new production and service hub nearing completion in Gdansk, Poland, we are excited to continue building our relationship with the Canadian Embassy team.
Day 1 of #MSPO at the 🇨🇦 Pavilion was a smashing success! 🇨🇦🇺🇦 💪 Ambassador Catherine Godin and BGen Christopher Moyle, DG Land Equipment Program Management met with #Ukraine Deputy Minister of Strategic Industries Sergiy Boyev to reaffirm Canada’s ongoing and unwavering support for Ukraine, to demonstrate the concrete implementation of the Canada-Ukraine Agreement on Security Cooperation and plans for further cooperation. This was exemplified by the over 75 B2Bs that took place between Canadian and Ukrainian companies at the 2nd Canada-Ukraine Defence Industries Seminar throughout the day at #MSPO. ✅ The Ambassador and BGen Moyle met Jan J. Grabowski, member of the management board of 🇵🇱's largest defence company, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. Both sides highlighted opportunities for increased cooperation, referencing a) several existing Canadian and PGZ partnerships like OSI Maritime Systems and SOUCY DEFENSE+ b) the record Canadian delegation at MSPO 2024 (46 companies!) as a strong base for greater collaboration. Also discussed was the #Leopard 2 Maintenance Centre at the Bumar Łabędy S.A. Zakłady mechaniczne facility in Gliwice, which Canada gave $30M to support the repair and sustainment of donated Leopard 2 tanks for Ukraine. ✅ Following the meeting with PGZ, we didn’t have far to go, as Huta Stalowa Wola S.A./HSW S.A.'s #Borsuk Infantry Fighting Vehicle was outfitted with Soucy's composite rubber tracks. 💡 Afterwards, the Ambassador and BGen Moyle went on a tour of the Canada Pavilion to learn more about each company’s solutions and activities in Canada, Poland, Ukraine and the broader CEE region. As 2/3 of the companies returned from #MSPO2023, it was also an opportunity to hear about their leads and successes that were generated as a result of their participation. 🥂 The end of Day 1 was marked by a reception at the Canada Pavilion, which brought together over 200 people to network over Canadian wine.
