The Daily News is a seven-day news organization, publishing online each day. Our high-quality premium printed newspaper is published Tuesday through Friday and followed by a powerful weekend edition. Coast Monthly, award-winning and considered by many one of the top Texas lifestyle magazines produced by a local newspaper, artfully tells the stories of those who live and embrace the exciting coastal lifestyle. The Daily News organizes the Press Run, a unique opportunity for athletes of all ages and skill levels to run across the Galveston causeway, a 2-mile bridge connecting the mainland with the island. The race raises money to provide reading materials to local students. An important part of Galveston County, we are highly-engaged with our community by supporting local events and contributions to non-profit organizations.
