We have long committed ourselves to being a force for good, meeting the highest standards for social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.  Every single person here, part-time and full-time, receives medical, dental and healthcare benefits. Every single employee makes a living wage. New employees receive four and a half weeks vacation, in addition to paid sick leave. After two years, employees receive five and a half weeks vacation, in addition to paid sick leave. After 8 years, all full-time employees receive a paid, 8-week sabbatical. And that's just for starters. One of the things we all love about our work is that values matter and integrity is valued. Last year, we brought our Artist Grade branding forward. We also became the first American colorhouse to become a Certified B-Corp. This year, we are excited to bring our mediums branding forward, while also making some important improvements. The time has come to bring our branding in line with who we've always been as a colorhouse: friendly, forward-looking, dedicated, honest, thoughtful, inspiring, and supportive. We wanted to demonstrate and communicate our values to new artists in a way that's relevant to them as well as to artists we've worked with for decades. One medium in particular is getting a whole new identity. Let us introduce you to Galkyd Lite Gel, the medium formerly known as Neo Megilp. Galkyd Lite Gel will be available in a 150ml size, just like Galkyd Gel and Solvent-Free Gel. Don't worry, the medium you've known and loved for decades isn't going away! The formulation is unchanged... same fabulous silky feel, light consistent, and moderate-drying rate perfect for wet-into-wet techniques. Neo Megilp's name and packaging were in the way, however. Nobody knew exactly how to pronounce it correctly. The bottle design was awkward to use and made it hard to get every last bit out. And there were always questions on how it fit in with our family of Galkyd mediums. Neo Megilp looked like an odd duck. We've fixed that. Part of our promise is that we will deliver the right product for your work at an honest price. We're painters too. Count on us to always put our heads, hearts, hands and everything we've learned into everything we do. Our promise guided our work on mediums branding and labelling. Each product has a unique QR tag that takes artists directly to the inspiration and information. Mediums have blue labels. And tools, such as Gamsol and Gamvar, have red labels. Our goal is to inform and inspire you, just as your work and ideas inspire and inform us. We want to thank everyone for their longstanding support of Gamblin. We continue to grow as a colorhouse and continue to invest to be the best. We are proud to be the only American colorhouse that's a Certified B-Corp. And even after 44 years at it, we feel like we're just getting started. We're working on some exciting things that we can't wait to share with you. For now, we hope everyone has an August filled with light, love, laughter, and peace.

Once a year, Gamblin Artists Colors collects a wealth of pigments from our Donaldson® Torit® Air Filtration system. We filter the air around the areas where we handle dry pigments so that our workers are not exposed to pigment dust.
