🧬Supporting GMP Biologics Manufacturing for Clinical and Commercial Use🧬

🔬 BioProcess International East is just around the corner and I am looking forward to discussing and hearing more about some key trends while attending the show with the GBI Bio team: 🌟 Efficiency Enhancements Across Bioprocessing Phases 🌟 🔬 Cell Line Development Breakthroughs: There’s been great progress in streamlining vector designs and single-cell clone selections, especially with CHO cell lines. 🚀 The recent advancements in using minipool cells to kickstart certain process development activities have significantly cut down timelines, making cell line development faster and more efficient. 🤖 Emerging Technologies: Continuous processing, automation, high-throughput experimentation, and predictive modeling are increasingly being integrated into process development and commercial manufacturing. These technologies are driving efficiency while ensuring quality, ultimately speeding up the delivery of life-saving medicines to patients. ⚛️ CMC Considerations for Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing: As radiopharmaceuticals continue to rise, there’s a growing focus on sourcing and generating antibody or protein delivery systems, developing scalable conjugation processes for chelators or linker-payloads, and managing short half-life components. Ensuring traceability and reliable sourcing for radioactive materials is becoming ever more critical. #Bioprocessing #Biotech #Pharmaceuticals #Innovation
