GBTA | Europe Conference delegates coming to VisitCopenhagen for the first time, you’re in for a treat. I’ve been here for three days (first time) and loving it. Here are just a few of the many reasons why: - You’re never far from water - You can cycle pretty much everywhere 🚲 and everybody does (young, old, with babies/children/dogs in tow) - The public transport is super easy and super efficient and includes 100% electric and silent water taxis - The train information boards give arrival times to the half minute 😀⏱️ - The bakeries are so good people are happy to queue (Juno was our favourite) - Communal dining is a big thing. It’s great value and you get to meet the locals - The locals are super friendly and speak better English than the English 😀 Thank you to Giuseppe Liverino at Wonderful Copenhagen for all your help and recommendations Thank you to the team at Charlottehaven for looking after us so well Now I’m looking forward to seeing all my friends and colleagues for the GBTA | Global Business Travel Association Sustainability Summit tomorrow and the Conference at the Bella Center Copenhagen and to experience more of this wonderful city ♥️

🌍 Taking the scenic route to Copenhagen for GBTA | Europe & Sustainability Summit! I’ll admit I was a bit apprehensive - Six trains, five countries, and a day and a half of weekend travel seemed like a lot! But as each train sped through Europe, up to 200km per hour, my initial hesitation faded away. The journey has given me rare moments of quiet reflection - something I often miss while balancing work and family - and proved very productive! I’m genuinely excited to reconnect with our industry’s thought leaders and innovators, celebrate joint successes and clients' achievements, and strategize for 2025.
