Medicine is continually evolving to empower clinicians to enhance patients' lives and enable earlier, more precise interventions and treatment plans. The rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) tools is helping to uncover hidden connections within vast amounts of clinical data, bridging the gap between patient needs and the care clinicians can deliver. Recently, Parminder Bhatia, Chief AI Officer at GE HealthCare spoke at the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe about the potential of AI Foundation models. By leveraging the emerging power of foundation models (FMs), the healthcare industry can develop advanced AI-driven solutions more efficiently. These versatile tools are set to revolutionize healthcare by: > Improving diagnostic accuracy 🩺 > Streamlining administrative tasks 🗂️ > Enhancing the delivery of timely and precise medical interventions ⏰ What are your thoughts on the role of AI in healthcare? #AI #DigitalHealth #HealthcareInnovation

In a region as vast as Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay combined, there are very few clinics with digital mammography. Dr. Sabrina Bianco is working to change that reality - turning what began as a 20-day visit into a 20-year mission to bring advanced breast cancer care to the heart of the Amazon. "Time and cancer walk side by side," says Tatiana Sales, one of Dr. Bianco’s patients. "If I hadn’t been diagnosed early, I might not be here today." Discover how Dr. Bianco's passion and the use of advanced mammography technology are bringing hope to women in one of the world's most challenging healthcare environments. We had an incredible time at #HLTHUSA! 🎉  The event keynote delivered by our Global Chief Science and Technology Officer, Taha Kass-Hout, MD, MS showcased how AI and cloud computing are transforming healthcare faster than ever. We introduced CareIntellect for Oncology, set to streamline workflows and help reduce burnout, and highlighted the Health Companion project, which explores leveraging multimodal data to recommend personalized treatment plans. Most exciting of all, we shared our vision for how AI can help bring #healthcare access to the 4.5 billion people with limited or no access to quality care.   At our #AIInnovation Lab, we lifted the veil on how we are researching innovations powered by foundation models and multi-agent AI to help improve clinical decision-making, streamline mammography and radiology workflows. These innovations, and many more, have a common goal: help clinicians deliver more personalized care while helping drive operational efficiencies.   Our booth celebrated #GEHealthCare’s century-long history of innovation across imaging, ultrasound, patient care and workflow solutions.   We’re excited to continue leading the way in #HealthcareInnovation and look forward to working with all of you to create a world where healthcare has no limits! 💜   #FutureOfHealthcare #MedTech #AIinHealthcare HLTH USA
