GEI Consultants, Inc. is proud to be a part of this project, providing geotechnical engineering and support of excavation design services to the City of Loveland. The cut for the tank required blasting and rock bolt and shotcrete support to create a safe excavation. It has been great working with the City of Loveland, SM&RC Structural Engineers Inc., Garney Construction, and Ditesco, LLC on this challenging project in our backyard.
We captured a beautiful sunrise while placing 420 cubic yards of concrete for the City of Loveland’s 3.5 MG water storage tank! The project team worked efficiently—placing at a rate of 120 cubic yards per hour, with a new concrete truck arriving every 5 minutes. Project Team: City of Loveland, Garney Construction, SM&RC Structural Engineers Inc.
