We had the opportunity to collaborate with Upper Iowa University (UIU) on updating their 2024 Fayette Campus Viewbook. Our goal was to bring a fresh design and layout that aligned with UIU’s new campaign theme and message, “Wherever You Are & Wherever You’re Going,” while enhancing the book’s visual appeal to prospective students. Our challenge was clear: elevate the existing viewbook with a fresh, engaging design while maintaining its core messaging. We developed a 16-page format that combines modern, brand-driven design with practical, student-focused content. Our team managed every aspect, from project planning and art direction to copywriting and layout, ensuring the final product was both functional and visually engaging. UIU wanted a shift from text-heavy pages to a more visually driven piece with more emphasis on graphics, icons, and easy-to-navigate content. The focus on visuals allowed us to make key information pop through compelling imagery that showcases the Fayette campus experience. One of the standout features of the update was a two-page roadmap spread designed to guide prospective students through their first-semester journey—from visiting the campus to enrolling in classes. The infographic-style layout simplifies the process and demonstrates UIU’s commitment to making the student transition smooth and supportive. The 2024 Viewbook not only captures the essence of UIU’s brand but also serves as a key tool for recruitment, helping prospective students see how UIU provide a welcoming educational environment and the student-centric resources needed to achieve their goals and achieve future success.
