Gemma has enjoyed partnering with FMI over the years to foster continuing education for our employees and help expand their knowledge and skillset as leaders in our industry. Shout out to our lead Estimator, Eric Tenney, for representing Gemma this past week in Raleigh, NC!
While the content of each Emerging Managers Institute (EMI) program remains consistent, every session is uniquely enriched by the diverse perspectives and stories shared by participants. This week's EMI in Raleigh was no exception. One participant captured the group's journey during closing remarks and noted there was an initial sense of heaviness on the first day, reflecting the weight of managing in today's construction industry; but that by the end of our time together, that heaviness transformed into a sense of lightness, fueled by the lessons learned and the supportive network built. It's a privilege to facilitate such transformative experiences for these emerging leaders.
