Featuring "room-temperature consumable storage" and "same-day reporting," this innovative desktop sequencer enhances operational efficiency and flexibility for labs worldwide, pushing next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology to new heights! ✨Key Highlights: The MiSeq i100 series, including the MiSeq i100 and MiSeq i100 Plus models, offers a sequencing read length of 100 million bases and a data output capacity of up to 3 billion bases. The product integrates Illumina’s advanced XLEAP-SBS chemistry and DRAGEN secondary analysis hardware, resulting in 3 to 4 times faster processing with greater data accuracy than previous models. 💡 NTUH Partners with Illumina to Launch a Large-Scale Whole Genome Sequencing Project! 💡 🔬On October 15, 2024, National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) signed a memorandum of understanding with global genomics leader Illumina, officially kicking off a Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) project. This marks a new milestone for precision medicine in Taiwan! 🎯 Project Highlights: Utilizing Illumina’s high-throughput sequencing platform NovaSeq X Plus, each run can complete WGS for over 120 individuals, bringing groundbreaking advancements to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, neurological disorders, and rare genetic diseases. The project aims to conduct WGS for 50,000 patients, accumulating a vast amount of genetic data to aid in future disease prediction and personalized medicine.
